9/25/01: After almost a year and half and over 33,000 visitors to the home page alone, I finally decided to revamp the site a little. I hope you find it easier to use and visually more interesting. There will be more changes in the coming weeks throughout the site.  

Most notably, I am phasing out the post-apocalyptic section of the site.  Frankly, I added that section initially because I was concerned that I might get bored with reviewing nothing but prison movies, but as it turns out I'm adding movies I want to see to my collection faster than I can watch and review them.  The post-apocalyptic section will be migrating to a new website in the next few months.  Unlike Prison Flicks, this new site will feature shorter reviews, more discussion, and will be a collaborative effort involving me and several co-conspirators.  I'll let you know when it goes live.

I've also finally decided against adding a discussion board.  There are already plenty of good discussion boards out there at various movie review sites, and I don't see the need for yet another one.  Plus, they seem like a lot of work to maintain.

Keep an eye out for some new contests.  The first one didn't get much of a response, but I'll try another couple and see how it works out.
